• The last few years have been incredibly exciting working with new mediums. It's time now to pursue a new dreams, directions and challenges.

• A full spectrum communication design studio that works on identities, packaging, publications, posters, books, websites and bespoke advertising campaigns. The studio’s services are used by a variety of clients from real estate to jewellery, fashion to restaurants, cosmetics to chocolate and a client list that includes Bulgari, DLF, Farah Khan, Lakmé, Paras Buildtech, RJ Corp, Simone Arora and Sussanne Khan amongst others.
• My role has included redesigning processes for greater client satisfaction and retention, efficient delivery, financing, business development, client servicing and creative direction.

Sep 2007 – Dec 2013 · 6 yrs 3 mos · New Delhi Area, India

• I joined Tehelka, as an Associate Art Director when it transitioned from a tabloid to a weekly news magazine. As Design Editor of the magazine, I developed a close working relationship with the editorial team (chief editor, managing editor, senior editors, sub-editors, journalists, photo editor, photographers) to better interpret and visualise stories. It was vital to make the organisation understand that art direction is not simply a visual experience, but guiding an audience through the information being presented to them. Achieved by showing an appreciation and understanding for written content, and conveying the right message and meaning.
• A tremendous experience in working under extremely tight deadlines, sometimes just a few hours, not caving in and keeping the team motivated.

• From October 2002 till April 2008 I ran my own studio ‘OH!’. The studio carried out a range of projects for diverse clients which included The Malayalam Manorama Group, Bl^nk, Jazz Utsav, Prabuddha Dasgupta, Ganjam Jewellers, Sita Travels, Sant Nirankar Mission Museum and Turner Entertainment Asia amongst others.

• ICD has a track record of designing for brands from the editorial, marketing and corporate spaces over 2 decades. Founder Itu Chaudhuri has taught, lectured and judged at the National institute of Design and helped consult on curriculum at UCLA, Los Angeles. A strict taskmaster with a passion for lettering, calligraphy and type, Itu gave me the invaluable exposure of working with large brands.
• During the seven months at ICD I worked on projects with clients ranging from Benetton, Xerox to the Max Group of Companies.
