  • The work I'm best known for was creating Turkomatic, technology for collaborative workflow design using AI backends, which we simulated via 2010-era technology Mechanical Turk. In modern terms, the resulting work identified how to design agentic workflows using intelligent backends.
  • I also coauthored and launched MobileWorks, a competitor to Amazon Mechanical Turk predicated on boosting quality via fair incentives. This was best known for being an early backend annotation provider to companies like ScaleAI.
  • Also: computational geometry, linear optimization, machine learning and operations research.
