I was good at eating, staying, and flying cheaply

Had 5 months of freedom to travel cheaply and try to understand cultures, societies, and peoples around the world. Made a lot of new friends :)
My worldly possessions fit in a backpack and a small suitcase. These were some of my happiest (and loneliest) times, so I know happiness and material possessions don't correlate.

Opened my eyes to venture-backed startups. I worked with the CEO and one other Northwestern student at company size of 4 to write the origination model with Monte Carlo simulations, driving investment decisions for the first commercial ISAs (Income Share Agreements) in the US. We validated a scalable user acquisition model through targeted social media ads, which allowed the CEO to raise a mid-8 figure first institutional round.
Before that, we assembled furniture, and used windowsills as desks before the desks arrived!
