• As part of the finance function supporting a private equity backed business, I work closely with investors, auditors, and cross functional teams to deliver accurate reporting, ensure compliance, and support high value transactions. My role allows me to contribute both to day to day financial operations and to strategic initiatives that drive investor confidence and organizational growth.
• Key Contributions:
• 1.) Investor Reporting & MIS: Prepare and maintain detailed investor reports and MIS files, providing clear insights into portfolio company performance. My work ensures that private equity stakeholders receive transparent, data driven updates to support strategic decisions.
• 2.) Transaction & Due Diligence Support: Contribute to financial due diligence by validating records, reconciling discrepancies, and preparing structured financial data. Supported the execution of a landmark ₹1700 Crores deal involving the sale of multiple portfolio companies.
• 3.) End to End Financial Reporting: Oversee accurate, consistent, and reliable financial reporting, including variance analysis and process improvements to strengthen reporting quality and governance.
• 4.) Regulatory Compliance (GST & Tax): Ensure timely and accurate GST filings and draft responses to Income Tax notices, minimizing compliance risks and achieving timely resolution of departmental queries.
• 4.) Audit Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for statutory and internal audits, providing accurate data and reducing turnaround time for audit queries, enabling smoother reviews.
• 5.) System & Data Migration: Support accounting software migration, ensuring accurate data transfer, reconciliation, and seamless transition of accounting software.
• 6.) RBI & SEBI Filings: Provide accurate financial inputs for RBI and SEBI compliance filings, including those related to foreign exchange, CCDs, and NCDs, ensuring alignment with regulatory timelines.
