About

I believe technology should help people see more clearly and act more wisely, not overwhelm them with noise or false certainty. My work lives at the intersection of engineering, systems design, and trust. I focus on building and improving the underlying systems that decide what’s real, what’s reliable, and ultimately what humans and AI should pay attention to when making decisions. Today, that work shows up in large-scale marketing and customer data systems at Tripadvisor, where questions of identity, attribution, and confidence are central to how systems allocate resources and shape outcomes. Alongside my professional work, I’m exploring the Unpatterned, a long-term project centered on identity, trust, and how systems reason about real-world entities. The goal is to better understand how verification, context, and confidence can be embedded into data systems so that automation remains accountable to human judgment. I write and think about digital transformation beyond the hype, how identity, trust, and context get lost in modern systems, why speed without understanding creates fragility, and how we can design data and AI systems that remain accountable to the people who rely on them. Outside of work, I explore systems theory, mathematical methods, process design, spatial thinking, hyper dimensional computing, entity resolutions, and how complex systems actually behave in the real world, often through writing, prototyping, and conversations with people who care deeply about building things that last. Opinions are my own, shaped by hands-on experience across engineering, product systems, design, and social innovation.

  • I work on large-scale marketing and customer data systems that power digital acquisition and decision-making at Viator. My focus is building reliable, well-modeled data pipelines for search, paid media, and attribution, ensuring that marketing teams can make decisions based on signals they can trust.
  • A core part of my work involves grappling with identity, attribution, and confidence in noisy, real-world data, designing systems that make assumptions explicit, surface uncertainty, and support responsible automation in high-spend environments.

  • Worked closely with client management, I prioritized reporting needs and delivered in-depth insights into key performance indicators such as volume, gross profit, and cost efficiency. Through detailed analysis, I identified high-profit sales areas and recommended new locations for growth opportunities.
  • Additionally, I engineered batch data pipelines and ETL processes to handle data from over 10 sources, ensuring data quality and storage in PostgreSQL. Utilizing Nominatim and Google Maps API, I conducted spatial analysis to map sales locations accurately.
  • Moreover, I performed network analysis to determine reachable locations within specified travel time limits, facilitating strategic decision-making for the client

  • Contributed to the development and maintenance of the data infrastructure of the NigeriaSe4all platform. The platform provides an interactive database for the energy market in Nigeria. This contains information about on-grid power, off-grid power, and energy efficiency, and also provides public sectors with a basis for planning and monitoring strategies and services, for example providing market data for the private sector.

  • I contributed directly to the growth of the YouthMappers network through local outreach by recruiting highly motivated students to organize, create, and formally establish university-based YouthMappers chapters.
  • In addition to facilitating the creation of new chapters, I will provide local support through in-person, technical training to ensure data quality.
  • I worked on spatial infrastructure of Nigeria for managing, storing and visualizing openstreetmap data.

  • As one of the seven teams, which were carefully selected to participate in a 9-month program designed to enlist, enable, and showcase the contributions of open geospatial data for research on resilience of vulnerable populations around the world. Over the life of the research, I have, had the opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with the other teams from around the world(United States, Italy, Uganda, Columbia, Portugal, Nambia, Ghana and Bangladesh)!
  • In the summer, I took part in a customized technical training sessions, engage in scientific discussions, shared views and opinion about successful data and analysis practices during the research symposium hosted by The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia.
  • The study is aimed to develop a data-driven agricultural web portal that provide access to information to farms and farmers profile. Hence, provide a data flow between farmers, stakeholder and youth. This can be accessed in form of information presented as visualization and analysis to the public with the aim to foster positive decision making.
  • Thereby, demonstrating how open data can be leverage for food security.

  • During my internship, I provided support to the GRID3 project in Nigeria, which aimed to gather accurate and geospatially referenced data across various sectors. This included data on settlements, health facilities, schools, markets, roads, water points, farms, and information on internally displaced persons.
  • Additionally, I collaborated with the data analytics team to assist with ETL processes, analysis, report generation, and the development of research surveys for data collection. I also researched and documented visualization standards and best practices to guide non-data analysts in creating effective visualizations.
  • Furthermore, I contributed to the development of open-source tools for routing, scheduling, and planning public health interventions. Lastly, I assisted the boundary delineation team in microplanning efforts in Lagos.

  • I initiated a community initiative in Akure focused on teaching and promoting the use of R programming language both locally and nationally in Nigeria. Over the span of a few years, this project became a catalyst, inspiring others to follow suit. Our efforts included training over 120 individuals, leading to over 20 securing promising job opportunities, with some even spearheading similar community initiatives thereafter.
  • The primary objective of the community was to enhance the adoption of statistical computing using R and promote data science practices within Nigeria. It was a rewarding journey, as we successfully achieved many of our set goals, all while I was pursuing my college education.

  • The Map Akure initiative epitomized our commitment to generating vital data for Akure and Ondo State. Recognizing the pivotal role of location data in fostering community development, I assumed a leadership role in spearheading this project. Leading a dedicated team, we meticulously mapped buildings and roads on OpenStreetMap (OSM) utilizing specialized open-source software.
  • Beyond mere data collection, I organized workshops and provided mentorship to my peers within the college community. This aspect of the initiative not only enhanced our mapping capabilities but also fostered leadership development among my colleagues.
  • What made this endeavor particularly thrilling was our collaboration with international non-governmental organizations (INGOs), culminating in the establishment of the YouthMappers community in Nigeria. This initiative marked a significant achievement, underscoring our collective impact in advancing mapping efforts and community development on a broader scale.
