I specialise in recruiting front and middle office quantitative roles for buy-side firms, including energy traders, hedge funds and proprietary trading firms. In September 2013 I started my first recruitment job. 5 years to the day since the collapse of Lehman Brothers. The market I would be recruiting was...Risk. Over the next decade, I branched out into recruiting technical roles, including data science, model risk and quantitative analysis. No idea why. I can't code. I have a C in GCSE maths. But I found quant super interesting. Early in my career I started working with Ryan Norquoy. We immediately clicked. Within 5 years of working together, we progressed from trainee consultants at Randstad F&P to managing the risk, compliance & quantitative analysis recruitment desks at BSM Group. We now co-run our own recruitment agency, Statera Talent.
