• Availability, Scalability & Performance - Lead the Re-architecture of the entire

• In this position, I was part of the Innovation & Technology team which was headed by the CTO. This team comprised of Enterprise Architects who were responsible for modernization of Yodlee’s technology stack & drive architecture for all engineering teams in a way that has a companywide impact. I also worked with multiple engineering teams to understand their challenges and provide innovative solutions for these challenges helping them achieve their Delivery, Operational excellence & Engineering excellence goals.

• In this position I was responsible for building a Software Middleware for dynamic pricing system. The decision systems can decide the prices of items but then it is very essential that the prices are propagated to the PoS systems as well as the price display systems in real time. For a big retailer, it can mean changing prices for thousands of items being stocked across thousands of stores. Similarly, there is a continuous stream of data coming in from edge IoT devices. The software system to support this massive load must be well designed & scalable. Essentially, a few minutes’ delay in changing prices for an item or failure to engage a customer can mean a loss of sale to a competitor. Case in point, Amazon changes prices of items on its website several million times a day during the Christmas holiday season. To handle this scale, we are designing a software system using ‘Cloud Native’ architecture.

The position in TCS also provided me with extensive customer exposure – being the primary point of contact for the teams. Also, I got extensive international experience – working with customers across North America.
