• My role on the surface was very simple - help attract, retain and develop the early career talent entering Jardine Matheson (an Asian based conglomerate). However, the mission I undertook with my team was to make the Jardines Executive Trainee Scheme JETS one of the leading programmes in the world. We introduced strengths based assessment, a new development programme known as EMBARK and a critical experience framework to more intentionally provide talent management and support to the JET population. It is a high touch programme with coaching and career counselling enabling us to treat all the JETs as individuals on their own paths.
• For coaching, we introduced a new coaching partnership as we set out on a journey to move towards a coaching culture. Resources and programmes were built in Mentoring, On demand coaching, Coaching Skills and Career Counselling.
