Urban planner, architect, and researcher with interdisciplinary training in architecture and urban planning, and over fourteen years of experience across academia, research, and practice. My work examines urban public spaces, particularly streets and parks, as socially produced environments shaped by governance, everyday practices, and questions of equity and inclusion. My doctoral research focuses on women’s perceptions of safety in urban neighbourhood parks, using a mixed-methods approach that combines archival research, qualitative fieldwork, and spatial analysis. I have contributed to policy-oriented research, participatory documentation, and collaborative projects engaging with public space design and urban governance of Indian cities.
