Nick Studer — CEO
As CEO of Marsh Risk, I help clients protect what matters most: their people, assets, and future. Previously I held the title of President and CEO of Marsh Management Consulting and Oliver Wyman. Over the course of nearly three decades in consulting, I worked with chief executives and senior leaders of major institutions around the world on governance, strategy, operations, financial planning and risk management, and public policy and regulatory response. I have advised senior government leaders and policy makers on topics of industry competitiveness and stability and supported the World Economic Forum on a few projects, particularly the Role of Financial Services in Society. I’ve co-authored numerous articles and studies, including support for Her Majesty's Treasury on the 10-year vision for the Global Competitiveness of the UK's Financial Services Industry. I was a founding Director of TheCityUK, a founding advisory board member of the FICC Markets Standards Board, a member of the UK Voluntary Carbon Markets Forum and a member of the Sustainable Markets Initiative. I graduated with a First Class Honors degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Cambridge University. A former rugby player, I’ve enjoyed introducing my sons to its dark arts, and keep in scrummaging shape through a healthy interest in roasting, grilling, and pickling.
