Deepak Silaych — Software Engineer

I am Deepak Silaych, a final year student at IIT Bombay with experience across artificial intelligence, web development, and large-scale systems. My journey spans building AI-powered platforms at startups and contributing to global research initiatives such as Google Summer of Code with the Sanger Institute, where I developed a genomic classifier for malaria mosquitoes. Through my roles at FanTV AI, MathKraft, RentPrompts, DraftAI, and HealthKa, I have gained hands-on experience in both research-driven and industry-focused environments. At IIT Bombay, I have led technical initiatives including a city-wide flood warning system and served as Institute Web Head, overseeing development for multiple platforms and technical teams. I have also secured top positions at InterIIT Tech Meets with projects in decentralised trading and financial document analysis. Curiosity and a passion for building drive my work. Whether it is solving real-world challenges, experimenting with AI agents, or designing secure systems, I approach every project with persistence and discipline, qualities that stem from my background as a competitive swimmer. I am always eager to engage with opportunities that challenge me to learn and contribute meaningfully at scale.
