I am a permanent assistant professor in the School of Computer Science at the National University of Ireland Galway from Sep 2022. I was Postdoctoral Fellow at the Unit for Linguistic Data, Insight SFI Research Centre for Data Analytics, Data Science Institute, National University of Ireland Galway, from Sep 2020 to Aug 2022. My research focus recently is on text classification, sentiment analysis, abusive/offensive language detection, topic detection & tracking, trending topic detection, knowledge graphs, creating positivity in social media platforms, machine translation, and multilingualism. I have published multiple international conference papers (COLING, LREC, MTSUMMIT, DSAA, LDK, GWC, AICS, FIRE, etc) and highly reputed journal papers (LRE, CSL, SNAM, JDSA, JDIM, etc). I have an h-index of 28, i10-index of 46, and citations of 1,901 from Google Scholar as of June 2022. I have more than 50 refereed publications. I have more than 6 years of experience in working with Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. I received the Best Application Paper Award at DSAA 2020 IEEE an ACM-funded conference. I am organizing multiple shared tasks related to social media text analysis in the Association of Computational Linguistics (ACL 2022) and the European Association of Computational Linguistics (EACL 2021). I organized two workshops at EACL 2021 and ACL 2022. I am editing two special issues of Springer journals and one special issue of Elsevier journal. I am an editorial board member for the Journal of Natural Language Engineering - Special Issue on NLP Approaches to Offensive Content Online (Cambridge University Press).
