Christopher Jones — CEO
We emigrated in 2008 and I plan to continue working in Family Medicine. My main aim is to develop my involvement in acute, short term overseas deployment in the aftermath of natural disasters and experience in rural medicine. I was a member of a volunteer medical group from the UK that went to Sri Lanka following the Boxing Day tsunami, and have helped with the Bangladeshi NGO "Friendship" on four visits to the north and south of the country, providing medical assistance and following cyclone Sidr. I've just completed volunteering in Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu with Medical Santo at their clinic and the district hospital where, despite it only being two hours flight from home, the difference in first and third world medicine is immense. We are a very sporty family; Abi swims, Ben's a runner and Vicki's a triathlete: She' representing Australia in the age group World Championships in Chicago next month, whilst I run, swim and windsurf. We love travelling and snow riding and are off to Lake Tahoe in January
