• Summer Project - Explore the potential of the pharmaceutical sector for credit lending in the western region of India.
• Roles and Resposibilities :
• 1) Analyzed the entire pharma ecosystem, the nature of the different types of companies present in this sector. Analyzed the nature of the open market credit system between buyers and suppliers, nuances of this credit system, and the process of raw material procurement to develop strategies for entering this segment.
• 2) Analyzed the industrial belts in the western region of India. Mapped the companies according to the nature of business ( Bulk drug manufacturer / Equipment manufacturer) in Maharashtra and Gujrat.
• 3) Analyzed the financial position of the companies through credit reports, probe analysis, and financial reports available on MCA.
• 4) Interacted with pharma manufacturers and raw material suppliers to understand the working capital cycle, major raw materials, suppliers, import/export percentage, payment terms, and challenges facing due to COVID - 19. Checking feasibility for providing secured or unsecured purchase financing to the client, getting raw material inquiry for equipment manufacturers, ( Stainless Steel Material) closing it after negotiations on prices and payment terms.

• Member of the core team at India’s largest integrated steel plant at a single location, that led the company to win Deming Award; The highest award in the world, received for imparting quality standards across the values chain and effective implementation of Statistical Quality Control techniques.
• 1) Implemented management initiatives like policy management, daily management in maintenance, employee engagement which enables an organization to streamline the action plan of all the departments, and empowers employees at all hierarchy levels.
• 2) Responsible for employee engagement through the formation of the quality circle: Form Quality circles, train them on various quality tools, engage them in process improvement through Kaizen, Poka-yoke, One-point lesson activities. Monitored and reporting the status of breakthrough projects initiated every quarter. Prepared report on a completed process improvement project for knowledge dissemination. • 3) Implemented daily management practices across mills division – KPI drill down, KPI monitoring using control charts, stability vs conformity analysis, identification of projects for KPI improvement.
