About

I grew up watching my father build his business from scratch. From owning our first home to moving into a bigger one, from train journeys to international travel, I saw firsthand how disciplined entrepreneurship can change a family’s trajectory. That early exposure shaped my ambition to become self-made and pushed me to start building early. I was part of a founding team that was acquired, worked at India’s first unicorn, raised capital at 21, made mistakes, went into debt, and learned how to recover by building a profitable marketing services company. Over the next decade, I built five businesses under Aflog from the ground up. I ran the group for seven years and, after ten years of entrepreneurship, stepped aside in December 2025. Today, Aflog is led by my wife and co-founder, Sanya. What began as survival evolved into a deep obsession with marketing. I study consumer psychology, business and founder narratives, public market sentiment, and global liquidity cycles to help individuals build credible, long-term personal brands aligned with how markets actually think. Today, I consult selectively with people who inspire me—Indian cricketers, a $10B PE fund CEO in Abu Dhabi, and public market CEOs across the Middle East. I work at the intersection of identity, markets, and narrative, helping leaders position themselves for long-term relevance and compounding influence.

Founder, CEO

  • At Aflog, we built India's first social shopping platform. A pinterest kind of platform, where you could buy a product with 2 clicks. At peak - We had 25,000+ Daily active users. We even got noticed by big folks at Pinterest. What still feels like something super exciting to build was given up on extremely early because we found it challenging to attribute sales.
  • Affiliated catalogue = Aflog, we believed in the power of UGC, when people were still stuck on facebook. Today social shopping platforms integrate sellers directly in their systems. We worked on Affiliate links. And didn't have the balls to integrated directly. So we gave up!
  • Since then, we tried building an influencer marketing platform, an agency marketing platform and a bunch of pivots. But failed.
  • Our services model that started as a form of survival, today, is the core of the business. Sanya joined us when we were in debt. Shifted the culture, built a profitable service company. So as of December 2025, I stepped away as CEO, letting her lead and grow the baby she built!

  • I remember speaking to MC, who was my best friend's dad. Told him I wanted to start up. He asked me if I have any idea on how businesses are run, I told him I'd learn on the way. He told me, why make mistakes in your dream while you can learn on mine?
  • I spent a year at Vir India, a start up that aggregated CSR funds from large corporations to enable them to give back to families from the Indian Army. Together, we built out an entire platform, partnered with different businesses, launched the platform - Inaugurated by Mr. RK Krishnakumar, Director at Tata and sons.
  • While the vision was something I wanted to contribute towards, changes in laws made it harder for us to operate. My stint at Vir India taught me to work towards something I stand for. Till date, I try and follow the same.

Founding team/Head Of Content

  • Pixtory started off at Inmobi. India's first Unicon. I was a teenager, in awe with the Inmobi office. So everyday, I'd be at college till 4 PM, go to the Inmobi office and work till 1 AM. Did this for 30 odd months.
  • The narrative inside Inmobi was transparent - They needed to build their own distribution platform. So they encouraged their smartest people to build inside. At Pixtory, I built the content vertical. We were India's first homescreen wallpaper app, with 40,000+ people using it everyday. I saw the entire journey from conceptualisation, to failure, to exit first hand. All before I turned 22.
  • Fun fact - Glance, started at the same time, in a room right opposite, solving the same problem is today worth $2 Billion. The thought of what this could've been still gives me goosebumps.
