• Xelector is a white label financial and utilities comparison engine used by leading websites including Tesco compare, Motley Fool, AOL Compare and Confused.com. The front uses conjoint analysis to select suitable products by allowing the user to trade off product attributes in near matched products. I played a major role in algorithm development and software design.
• I recruited and led a team of developers and analysts to develop a customer data warehouse which featured a client portal for affinity partners and product providers to query their own data and run reports, by front ending SAS. For this achievement, my team won the coveted SAS EMEA Award for Technical Innovation in 2000.
• I also worked on projects for Xelector's parent company Enba and their subsidiary internet bank First-e.

• NDL International started as the European franchise of a US company National Demographics and Lifestlyes, performing and analysing consumer surveys on behalf of many blue chip clients. I had overall board level responsibility for both systems development and statistical analysis. I designed and developed many of the company's products including Customer Profile Analysis (CPA) still used today by successor Acxiom, FIND a financial geo-demographic segmentation tool, Prizm UK the company's flagship geo-demographic product, market location to assist retailers plan store networks based on demographics and Lifestyle Universe, a multi-source survey database.
• NDL merged with CMT to form Claritas UK in 1992 which was subsequently acquired by Acxiom in 2005. I have been retained as a consultant to the board of both successors to this date.
• In 1996 I was seconded, on a freelance basis, to a team in Paris to establish the company's operations in France.
