Paolo Trevisan is Vice President Design of Pininfarina America. Paolo is working to cultivate a multidisciplinary design team in the United States –– responsible for managing and delivering projects for the American continent (USA, Canada, and Latin America). Paolo’s design work spans experience in industrial design, architecture and interiors, nautical and aeronautical design projects. He has managed more than 100 initiatives, including projects for Coca-Cola, Motorola, 3M, Cisco Systems, Bovet 1822, The City of Miami Beach, Related Group, Pasqualotto&GT, and Cyrela, the result of which was the firm’s first residential tower. He has also served as a Jury member of the ADI – Associazione per il Disegno Industriale and recently sat on the board of jurors of the 2019 American Architecture Awards hosted by the Chicago Athenaeum. Under Paolo's purview, Pininfarina of America studio has spearheaded several award-winning projects, including the the 2019 Red Dot Award for the City of Miami Bus Shelter Designs; iF Design and International Architecture Award for Cyrela by Pininfarina; and the American Architecture Award for Yachthouse in 2020 Pininfarina is also confirmed as 5th in a ranking of the Top 100 Architecture and Design Companies operating in Italy. Paolo first joined the Pininfarina team in Italy in 2000, where he worked closely with Chairman Paolo Pininfarina, and was elevated to the role of Chief Design Manager in 2006 before eventually moving to Miami in 2015 to contribute to the expansion of the firm into the Americas. Prior to joining the Pininfarina team, Paolo served as Master Coordinator at his alma mater, Istituto Europeo di Design, for over a decade, where he oversaw advanced courses in transportation and industrial design, sponsored a range of design projects, and participated on thesis review panels.
