About

I’ve always been curious about how systems and technologies work and more importantly, how they fail. As disruptive technologies like AI reshape cybersecurity, they are strengthening defenses through faster detection, predictive analytics, and automation, while simultaneously enabling attackers to launch adaptive malware, deepfakes, and advanced phishing campaigns. This evolving landscape motivated me to pursue a path as a cybersecurity graduate student specializing in Cyber Risk, Data Security, and AI-enabled security analytics, where I focus on translating technical risk into insights that business leaders can act on. I currently work as a Security Analyst I Intern at Intact Financial Corporation, supporting data security and cyber threat protection initiatives. My experience spans threat monitoring, endpoint security, identity and access management, and executive-level reporting, using tools such as Microsoft Security Suite, CrowdStrike, Power BI, and security automation with PowerShell/Python. I enjoy operating at the intersection of security operations, governance, and business impact. What differentiates me is my AI specialization within cybersecurity. Rather than treating AI as a buzzword, I focus on how it can meaningfully enhance security analytics, detection, and decision-making, while being adopted in a trustworthy, responsible, and secure manner. I strongly believe cybersecurity is a field of continuous learning. I actively invest in my growth through certifications including CompTIA Security+ and (ISC)² CC, ongoing preparation for CISSP, hands-on platforms like TryHackMe, and community engagement through Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) via mentorship and vulnerability disclosure programs. Beyond technical skills, I’m known for being collaborative, curious, and clear in communication—qualities strengthened through my roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and nonprofit volunteer. I’m motivated by opportunities where learning, impact, and collaboration come together.
