About

I am a full stack developer, passionate about architecture, efficient problem solving, and process design. I've been working with the development of massive scale communication infrastructure that handles billions of messages a day, leveraging the modern cloud computing platforms. My experience and expertise lies in .NET middle-tier/backend and modern front end frameworks like Angular & React. I love learning and playing with different technologies. I always seek higher challenges and enjoy leadership roles. Check out a podcast I recorded some time back, which is a technical deep dive into 'Building Modern Web Applications using React/Redux/Angular2/RxJs': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f45PR1IW3DY&t=2624s

  • I have enjoyed giving back to the society here to the fullest, leading the Microsoft's annual Giving Campaign for our org & championing and raising awareness toward the various local & national/international causes.
  • I have also been passionately building large scale cloud services in the messaging space, continuously innovating on the scale, resiliency, and cost efficiency aspects of the infrastructure that powers Microsoft Teams & the various customer delighting features that it offers. I am grateful to have been a part of a team that has powered the journey of this little known internally used product to a ubiquitous 270M+ MAU offering that it is today.

  • I developed key skills in flag & touch football here and had a blast at Eze's annual holiday events in Boston. I also developed features & lighted up new workflows for Eze's flagship Order Management System. I specialized in custom solution proposals to expedite product interop between the different financial offerings. I vividly recollect being handpicked by the then director to research and close on the WAN communication pipelines to be used by the product.

  • I worked on the "Capacity Analysis of a Bus Transport System (BTS) using wireless sensors" project, where I developed an algorithm, that given a graph representing bus stops, and a few other input parameters, computes the efficiency of the BTS, measured in terms of average passenger wait time.

  • I enjoyed the TRDDC campus & the cafeteria food here. The work I did here resulted in an International Publication in the field of wireless sensors & algorithms. The project titled "Efficient algorithms to compute sleep schedules and minimum delay routes in sensor networks" involved developing an algorithm that beat the then best known sleep schedule computing algorithm, reducing the time complexity from O(n^3) to O(n^2). This got presented in the 17th annual international conference of High Performance Computing (HiPC), which made the cut in a forum where acceptance rate is typically at 10-15%.
