• Designed JMX Scala Client to connect to JMX to gather memory usage and Garbage Collection information, use Lens library to modify the some statistics case classes elegantly and try to use the statistics to analyse the relationship between Garbage Collection and service timeout.

Designed and implemented Locking mechanism to manage the parallel jobs on clustered JVMs and implemented this pattern to some business processes to improve the efficiency of process of thousands accounts with complex relationships. Also designed Clustered counting mechanism to coordinate the parallel execution of MapReduce jobs to build In-Memory Storage of Eligibility Matrix to boost the performance of calculations of account eligibility information in the Big Data environment. Designed and implemented a MapReduce algorithm to greatly reduce number of the rule engine invocations and enhanced data structure for storing the results to improve the performance of classification of the collateral assets. This feature became a solid foundation for extending the calculation engine to support more business features with satisfying non functional requirement in a big data environment.
• Also enhanced in-house framework to enable Spring Dependency Injection to Quartz jobs. Introduced many design patterns including functional programming to apply the principles available from Scala in Java for better testability using unit test frameworks.
