• Netspend serve the estimated 68 million underbanked consumers who do not have a traditional bank account or who rely on alternative financial services, by offering products that are flexible with powerful features designed just for them. Business Intelligence Reporting is one of the major systems in Netspend which is 100% responsible for providng all types of financial reports to distributors, banks, customers and adhoc reports. BI team is also handling the COMMISSIONS and PROFIT sytems in Netspend.
• My roles and responsibilities here:-
• Involved in extensive data validation using SQL queries and back-end testing.
• Validating the BI reports end to end to make sure correct data has been captured in files.
• Modified and created SQL queries and stored procedures for better QA analysis and debugging.
• Responsible for validating ETL mappings from various systems(CRM,OLTP) to transaction history/reporting database.
• Supported the extraction, transformation and load process(ETL) for data Warehouse system using Hyperion Essbase.
• Well versed experience with OLAP concepts (Rollup, Drilldown, Pivot, Slice, Cubes)
• Validated data and transactions for end to end processing of transactions using SQL queries.
• Hands on project experience on testing Triggers, Stored Procedure, Functions, Packages and Indexes.
