Content makes me content. Hi. I’m Palak. I’m a Chartered Accountant. Back in 2022, I started creating content around finance because it naturally fit my background. But while doing that, I kept running into something bigger. A scheme I had never heard of helping millions. A taxation bill debated for hours finally becoming law. A simple utility like making UPI payments without internet. And all of this was coming from just one place - the Ministry of Finance. That’s when I realised something uncomfortable. Despite being an educated citizen, I probably didn’t even know 5% of what already exists for me. And the fact that this was just one Ministry - there are over 54 Ministries in total at the central level! That gap pushed me to pivot. I moved from finance-focused content to public policies - explaining them in a way that helps people understand their rights, their money, and their everyday lives. Today, across socials (9L+ community), my content covers everything that intersects with policy - from international trade agreements to collateral-free loan schemes, from mental health helplines to bills passed in Parliament, from rights if your flight gets delayed to a digital address technology built by India, and more. Along the way, I’ve also had the opportunity to work directly with the Government across multiple Ministries, and was among the top 10 creators for Social Change at the National Creators Award.
