I design vehicles and mobility products that actually make it to production. I’m the founder of Voyager, a design studio focused on vehicle and mobility product development for OEMs. We help teams move from early concept to manufacturable reality, without losing design intent along the way. Our work sits at the intersection of: - vehicle architecture and platform strategy - industrial design under real engineering constraints - fast, decision-driven development cycles Recent projects include: - a purpose-built ride-hailing vehicle for Uber - the Ridley Falcn, a premium performance cycling frameset - multiple vehicle and mobility programs for OEMs in Europe and the US We work closely with product, R&D, and engineering teams at companies such as Arrival, Lufthansa, United Airlines, Eddy Merckx, and Bernico International, supporting everything from early vision to production-ready definition. At Arrival, we were an integral part of the design team for the Uber Car, among other projects. This is a vehicle, purpose built for ride hailing, designed with input from Uber as well as Uber drivers. The aim was to create a spacious and airy environment for both driver and passengers.
Having worked so intensely together with a global team during the darkest months of the Covid pandemic was an immensely interesting experience. It helped us refine our approach to remote working, creating a centralized, streamlined, fully digital design workspace.
