As a Director of Engineering for Security at Monzo, I lead the Engineering teams that build systems and infrastructure to detect, mitigate, prevent, and protect Monzo from malicious actors. I have a demonstrable background in client apps engineering. I originally specialised in Apple platforms (macOS and iOS) and their internals, and later worked on privacy proxies and other networking technologies. Previously at Cloudflare, I led seven teams responsible for the Cloudflare Zero Trust On-Ramps, including the WARP clients, service, and API; cloudflared; QA and Escalation Engineering). Before joining Cloudflare, I worked at CrowdStrike, where I led a team of engineers and researchers working on CrowdStrike Falcon for iOS, the industry-leading endpoint protection solution. I also helped define the strategic vision, build the roadmap, budget resources, meet with customers, and coordinate cross-platform engineering efforts to ensure the successful delivery of all Mobile projects.
