• Designed and trained latency-efficient neural networks for Tesla Autopilot.
• Built tooling for accurate hardware-based latency estimates of PyTorch Models. Enabled latency-aware Neural Architecture Search that produced internal SOTA models for all highway driving tasks.
• Rewrote 2D Object Detection code from scratch. Improved mAP by >5% (>13% on small objects) while reducing latency.
