As Corporate Vice President and Managing Director, Mohan Rao Goli leads the Samsung Research and Development Institute, Bangalore. Samsung R&D centre in Bangalore focuses on building cutting edge technologies for Samsung, delivering innovative solutions to enhance customer experiences. It is also the largest overseas R&D center for Samsung outside South Korea. Mohan's tenure at Samsung spans over 27 years and he has been instrumental in shaping the technology capabilities at Samsung. He is also an inventor in over 30 patents filed globally in the field of communication networks, next generation communication and AI in wireless technologies. Previously, he was the Chief Technology Officer at Samsung R&D before taking up the role of Managing Director. Mohan is widely recognized for his contributions in the technology ecosystem and is a recipient of numerous awards such as Zinnov’s “High impact Global role” award in 2019, Zinnov’s “Best in Class CoE” award in 2022. In 2024, he was recognized as the “CTO of the year” by the Indian Achievers’ Forum, and the “Zinnov Tech Role Model 2024”.
