Nikhil Verma — Software Engineer

Hi, I’m a 4th-year CSE student who loves building things with code and creativity. My journey started with the MERN stack, where I learned to design responsive UIs, craft APIs, and manage databases to bring web apps to life. Along the way, I got deeply interested in AI/ML and now I’m exploring how Generative AI can shape smarter, more intuitive applications. I enjoy experimenting with models, prompt engineering, and ways AI can be blended into real-world projects. I also spend time sharpening my problem-solving skills through data structures, algorithms, and competitive coding, which helps me think clearly and build efficient solutions. I’ve applied these skills in hackathons and technical competitions, securing 2nd place at the TechXLR8 Hackathon organized by GDG on Campus PIEMR & AI Club, and qualifying as a Finalist at TechNova 2025, a national-level hackathon by ESSPL where top teams across India competed to solve real-world problems through innovative software solutions. In short, I’m someone who: - Builds full-stack applications with MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js - Explores AI/ML and Generative AI to push ideas beyond traditional apps - Enjoys solving problems with DSA and coding challenges - Always looks for ways to learn, improve, and create impactful solutions I’m excited about where tech is heading and want to be part of building the future at the intersection of AI and real-world applications.
