About

For over two decades, Abhijit has built and led cross-functional product teams that have successfully transformed both consumer and enterprise experiences through the power of design thinking. He has worked with many Fortune 100 companies, small-medium businesses, and start-ups across continents and cultures, delivering business value and market differentiation. As a user researcher and designer, he has traveled to over 40 countries to interview stakeholders, observe users, conduct design thinking workshops, validate prototypes, and present design-led product strategies. This extensive global experience has given Abhijit a unique cross-industry perspective and a deep appreciation for designing products for the global markets. Abhijit is a lifelong learner who is passionate about sharing his knowledge. He received the distinguished scholar title at Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Education in 2022 for his commitment to continuous learning. In addition, he became an adjunct faculty of design at Stanford University, School of Engineering in 2021, where he mentors final year mechanical engineering students on advanced product design projects. Abhijit also spends his spare time conducting workshops to introduce high school students to Design Thinking as a human-centered problem-solving method. Abhijit currently leads research and design for Amazon's multi-channel commerce and supply chain solutions, helping merchants of all sizes to grow both on and off Amazon. He is driving the end-to-end experience strategy for a suite of merchant-facing tools within the supply chain design ecosystem. His team is focused on simplifying complexity, accelerating decision-making, and helping merchants to become wildly successful, no matter where they sell, using Amazon-powered Supply-Chain solutions. Outside of work, Abhijit enjoys spending time outdoors, either hiking the trails around the Bay Area, riding his motorcycle, or discovering new culinary destinations.
