AutoProctor was launched during COVID, when schools were moving to remote learning. They needed a way to prevent students from cheating on online exams. We originally launched as a Google Forms add-on, scaled to 700K users in 3 months and got into Y Combinator. We've conducted 12 millions exams to date, with 4 million users and 40,000 organizations.
Though remote learning went away as COVID receded, AI developments like ChatGPT meant that any online exam needed proctoring. Our business continues to grow as more people discover how easy it is to use, and how feature-rich we are.
