About

Over 60 years and 34,000 hrs. of FAR-142/121/125/135/91 Flight Operations and Training. Shortly after the age 60 retirement from United Airlines, I was hired at Boeing Co. among the first cadre of 787 Training Captains. (* My 787 type rating was only an LOA, since it took another 5 years to finally certify the Dreamliner.) With over 26 years as the CEO at Aero Consulting Experts, I lead a team of esteemed aviation safety and security professionals. My expertise spans airline flight operations, safety, training, maintenance, and media relations. Supported by FAA certificates such as ATP, F/E, A&P Mechanic, and a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Multiple type ratings on commercial aircraft such as: B-787/777/767/757/747/737/727/720/707/DC-10/-9/-8/EMB-500) Having contributed to the aviation industry for decades, my mission is to uphold and advocate for rigorous safety and security standards while offering expert insight into aviation matters. My extensive media relations experience allows me to communicate complex aviation topics effectively across TV, radio, and film, including technical assistance for aviation-related productions.
