I'm a frontend engineer turned team lead, driven by curiosity, technical depth, and a strong belief that great products come from great collaboration. My current focus is on cross-platform development with React Native, where I help teams deliver high-quality, scalable solutions - and make sure we ship real value, not just features. While I’ve worked with Angular, Vue, and other frameworks, React quickly became my go-to - both for its flexibility and the ecosystem around it. That led me deeper into React Native, where I get to work at the intersection of mobile and web. I also enjoy diving into the backend when needed, having built services in both Node.js and Java. My curiosity doesn’t stop at the surface - I love peeking behind the curtain to understand how tools work under the hood, from bundlers like Metro to emerging protocols like React Server Components. That same curiosity fuels my contributions to open source, including the Astro project (for which I was honored with an Astro Community Award). As a seasoned speaker, I’ve delivered over 50 talks - from large-scale conferences like WeAreDevelopers World Congress to small, local meetups in Poland and abroad. Whether on stage or in the hallway, I enjoy sharing practical insights, hard-won lessons, and a few good war stories from the dev trenches. I’m also a Microsoft MVP in Web Development and the founder of GDG Toruń - the only JavaScript-focused meetup in the region. It’s not just a space for devs to share knowledge - we regularly engage with the local university to help shape the next generation of engineers entering the field.
