About

I'm a product engineer who thrives at the intersection of research, design, and implementation. I love collaborating with stakeholders to identify well-scoped solutions to complex problems and building them from concept to deployment. What drives me: The zero-to-one phase, where I can dig deep into research, understand the real problems at hand, and design systems that address those challenges from first principles. I'm methodical about setting success criteria and determining the minimum viable approach to validate hypotheses around user pain points. My approach to working AI/Data I believe in reading your data deeply and developing a nuanced understanding of what it reveals. All data are imperfect measures of our world, and when we do data science, our job is to use imperfect tools thoughtfully to extract meaningful insights and create value. When we run analyses or build models, they are helping make sense of these imperfect data, but they will still be biased. As such, I believe deeply in the importance of integrating evaluations and testing as essential steps in both traditional and AI software development lifecycles.

  • At Pillar, I am a founding engineer and a core contributor to building the product from 0 to 1, which has led to a $9 million seed round to date. A few notable achievements have been:
  • Architected and built a full-stack platform supporting AISPM (AI Security Posture Management) and EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response)—enabling advanced threat detection and AI security monitoring
  • Developed AI-powered threat modeling to deliver tailored adversarial testing and a robust red teaming suite for large language models (LLMs)
  • Trained and deployed classifier models to production for attack detection
  • Published security research on novel vulnerabilities in the AI supply chain
