I have a passion for building global businesses that can make an impact. At the age of 25, I built from scratch and scaled Schlumberger's exploration business in Kenya. From building a team of 40+ individuals from 10 nationalities to owning a P&L of $50M, I won the CEO’s award for excellent leadership and execution in the maiden waters of East Africa. After that, I moved to London where I led product development of IsoMetrix – a next-gen product with a $10M investment, sold it in 11 countries with annual revenue of $1.1B. I believe in creating systems that can impact generations to come. My present approach is to tackle education – the best way to impact the future. My mission is to revolutionize what and how students learn in the 21st century by making education relevant (useful) and engaging (fun!) I have worked in the field of education for years now. Some of my best experiences have been: - Teaching Maths at Prerna Classes, the top IIT coaching institute in Bihar & Jharkhand, India - Working at Teach for India, Mumbai, India - Training workers at Schlumberger’s biggest learning center (Middle East and Asia Learning Center), Abu Dhabi, UAE - Faculty nominated tutor for Finance and Operations, Harvard Business School, USA - Working at Onesmart education group, Shanghai, China Why Early Steps Academy? I started Early Steps Academy to make learning relevant (useful) and engaging (fun!) for the 2 Billion children going to schools today. The 21st-century world is changing faster than ever and children around the world are being taught the same 10 subjects (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, etc.) with little to no modification in curriculum or pedagogy. Those who get early exposure to real-world knowledge and skills generally do far better in life than those who do not. At Early Steps Academy, the mandatory second-school of the 21st century, children are taught 1000+ real-world subjects and 21st-century skills to confidently think and talk about these subjects. Through our online classes, students not only get global exposure but also understand practically how various things work in the real-world, ultimately finding better opportunities for themselves in the real-world. Early Steps Academy is “not optional”, it is mandatory for any and every school-going child!
