• Back in 8th grade, I discovered that it was possible to create my website. At the time, someone told me it was an expensive process, so I put the idea on hold. By the time I reached 10th grade, I came across platforms like Blogger, Wix, and WordPress. Among them, Blogger stood out as it was completely free, unlike Wix and WordPress, which required payment.
• I began experimenting with Blogger, learning the basics of content writing and website designing using templates. Eventually, I earned a small amount of money which I used to purchase a one-year hosting plan from GoDaddy and registered my first domain: treeoftech.com.
• For the next two years, I actively worked on my WordPress site. I dived deep into SEO, learned how to craft engaging posts, and explored various aspects of managing and growing a website.
• You might wonder why I shut it down. In August 2018, I started college for my B.Tech, and my parents didn’t allow me to take my laptop with me. Without regular updates and maintenance, the website's traffic began to decline. Eventually, I couldn’t afford to renew the domain and hosting, and I had to shut down treeoftech.com.
• Though the website is no longer live, the experience I gained during those years laid a strong foundation for my skills in content creation, SEO, and web development.
