Hello !! This is Adv. Devant Kumar (a Legal Practitioner) @ Delhi High Court, and a graduate in B.A.LL.B (Hons.) from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA (A Central University), New Delhi. Yet, despite this disciplinary multiplicity, I refuse to define myself by epistemic fragmentation. I identify, in the most rigorous sense, as a 'Student of Philosophy'—for philosophy functions as prima philosophia, the meta-disciplinary condition of possibility for all knowledge-forms. It alone undertakes the critical interrogation of being (ontology), knowing (epistemology), valuation (axiology), rational structure (logic), normativity (ethics and jurisprudence), and meaning (hermeneutics). The empirical sciences, the social sciences, and the normative disciplines appear to me as regional ontologies, each bounded by method and object, whereas philosophy alone aspires toward synthetic totality—the unification of fact and value, power and legitimacy, legality and justice, explanation and understanding. To philosophize, therefore, is not to negate specialization but to submit all specializations to transcendental critique, dialectical reasoning, and moral accountability, thereby transforming knowledge into wisdom and information into truth. My intellectual trajectory has been recognized through selection by several historically & epistemically significant institutions, including CNLU, AMU, BHU, JNU, NALANDA UNIVERSITY, Presidency University (Kolkata), University of Allahabad, and leading colleges of the University of Delhi. These selections reflect epistemic recognition, yet remain secondary to my philosophical vocation—a lifelong commitment to inquiry and critical understanding beyond institutional boundaries.
