• Worked as an individual contributor which involved developing functionalities from scratch.

• (i) Client : AT&T - SNAP-NIS Application
• Project Description:
• SNAP-NIS – a very old AT&T application got migrated from Unix environment to AT&T’s Standard Cloud in Red Hat Linux. As a part of the migration, application UI had been re-written with J2EE frameworks like Spring MVC, JPA using Websphere 8.5 as the application Server, loader was migrated to ETL tool, Datastage & there were architectural changes to Database Design which used Golden Gate for Primary to Secondary Server Replication.
• Contribution:
• As a team lead, mentored the team members on the technical & business side & guided them in case of any blockers or technical issues.
• Created various POCs using Spring MVC 3.1, JPA with Websphere Setup to start with the implementation.
• Took various technical sessions on Spring Framework, Websphere, JMeter, Java WebServices & mentored the team effectively by having working sessions with them. With this, the team could effectively & independently work on the assigned tasks with the guidance provided.
• Active Participation in Client calls on a day-to-day basis to setup the path for a successful release.
• Implemented the DR solution & presented a live demo to the client with the required documentation.

• Project Description:
• DDC – IVAPP (Integrated Verizon Advanced Provisioning Platform) is one of the Verizon Portals to facilitate its customers for easy distribution of digital data between the Content Providers and the Digital Media Retailers. DDC – IVAPP has its frontend developed in ExtJS 3.0, integrated with Seam Framework and Drools, which we upgraded to ExtJS 4.0 with an enhanced UI.
• Contribution:
• Analysed the different ExtJS components to be used for the proposed screenshot sent by the client.
• Used different ExtJS components like Grid, Store, Panel, Toolbar, Button, Image etc for the UI development.
• Integrated the new ExtJS 4.0 code with the existing Seam Web Remoting APIs and Drools for querying the database using DAO for backend operations.
• Worked on some of the very challenging tasks like resolving the Derived Assets issue (tree structure) in Add Assets, Timezone issue (IST/EST), Search Order Issues (search functionality), Ingest filesize issue.

• Contribution:
• Interacted with onsite counterparts to gather requirements and responsible for the development of new requirements or any enhancements.
• Worked on the module - TPC –Test Plan Converter Module - which includes working on Analysis of requirements, design to be implemented, regular expressions to be used and creating Test Plans with all the possible test cases. Responsible for timely deliverables of all the tasks of the project and for implementation of module/Coding, code reviews, test plan creation and unit testing of modules developed as per client standards.
• Also developed a web tool from scratch on J2EE platform so as to facilitate the users to post their ideas or value adds, which can extensively reduce manual efforts and help other team members to maximize productivity. Technologies used for development are JSP, Servlets, JSTL, Javascript, extensive use of stylesheets and followed the standard Design patterns for the same.
• (ii) Client : Putnam
• Project Description:
• Provided 24*7 technical support function to 43 applications in the Investment Management Division of Putnam Investments of which I was a part of the Support team in Order Management Stream.
• Contribution:
• Expertise in Technical/Functional specifics of the Applications and also as an Application Owner in Putnam.
• Handled 12 applications (Production as well as Test Environments) of Order Management Stream in Investment Management domain
• Remained an SME – Subject Matter Expert for 2 applications in which I was responsible for documenting the issues with proper analysis and giving KT sessions to onsite and offshore teams regarding any updates related to them.
• Acquired business knowledge in Investment Management domain, which helped me to correlate the different 43 applications and the data/message flow from one application to another.
