As the Global (Tribe) Architect—following a Spotify-like model—for Sportradar’s Sport Media division, I was responsible for the overall architectural strategy of our tribe, which consisted of five squads (teams).
• ▪Mentored, coached, and supported development teams—providing hands-on guidance and stepping in deeply when projects faced critical challenges.
• ▪Partnered with product and sales teams to define and shape technical strategies for our sports media products. For example, I proposed and demonstrated how converting our REST APIs to GraphQL could enable the creation of an entirely new media offering.
• ▪Helped development teams bootstrap new projects by creating foundational structures and components along with architectural patterns that simplified development and maintained consistency.
• ▪At a global level, I collaborated with fellow global (tribe) architects to define architectural standards and develop POCs that enabled cross-tribe integrations. For example, I worked with a peer architect to design a data model that mapped betting entities to media entities, providing a foundation for seamless cross-product integration.
