About

Engineer by day. Storyteller, overthinker, and tired philsopher by night. A busy dad of two, learning how to lead at work while striving not to run on autopilot at home. I started like most engineers: head down, solving problems, chasing precision. Blueprints, deadlines, deliverables. I loved it. Still do. But somewhere along the way, the job changed. The equations got easier… but the conversations got harder. Influence. Strategy. Communication. Ownership. No one hands you a playbook for that. So, like any good engineer, I reverse-engineered it through trial, failure, reflection, and relentless curiosity. Books. Podcasts. Tough feedback. Self-study in the psychology of people, not just systems. Eventually, I made a deliberate pivot into the world of data centres. Critical infrastructure that no one sees, yet everyone depends on. It was a natural evolution for a builder like me, getting closer to where the digital world runs. But I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was still missing. I needed a space to create more than systems, to build ideas, community, and impact. A way to offer the version of me from 10 years ago what he never had: real guidance. That’s why I started 'Engineer Mindset', a platform for engineers who want to lead, not just deliver. Because engineers by day often become accidental leaders overnight. And most aren’t given the tools they need to thrive in that new reality. My posts focus on what the textbooks and traditional education leave out: 🧠 Strategic thinking 🗣 Communication and influence 🎯 Decision-making under pressure 🧭 Career design with clarity and intent Along the way, I discovered that my real edge wasn’t just technical insight. It was helping others unlock the next level of themselves. And that’s the work I now care most deeply about. If you’re an engineer ready to grow on your terms, this is for you.
