• Led and scaled a high-performing civil and design team driving AWS’s data center expansion across APAC, including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
• Key Accomplishments:
• Developed and applied risk frameworks for early-stage site assessments, guiding real estate acquisitions and informing buildability and permitting decisions.
• Delivered strategic civil engineering leadership across greenfield and brownfield sites, shaping masterplans and optimizing site layouts to align with long-term regional infrastructure goals.
• Built and mentored a cross-country team, elevating technical capability and execution speed across complex, multi-market developments.
• Improved delivery efficiency by implementing design process improvements, streamlining CSA coordination, and enhancing vendor collaboration models.
• As Design Manager:
• Managed two large-scale, confidential data center projects in India and Australia (80MW IT capacity combined).
• Successfully led AWS’s tallest data center development in India (G+6), managing contract negotiations, regulatory approvals, design certification, and core & shell execution.
• Directed coordination across developers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless alignment between base build and fit-out phases.

• Started as AWS’s first Civil Engineer in Asia Pacific. This client-side role required a command of data centre campus design, including critical infrastructure delivery, expertise in data centre design principles and navigating complex regulatory and permitting processes.

• Worked to shape the future of Greater Metropolitan Sydney with significant contributions to TfNSW and Sydney Metro major infrastructure projects, including Westconnex 3B Rozelle Rail Yards and Barangaroo Station civil works.

• Focused on delivering value to clients in the urban development and regeneration space through various complex and challenging projects. Most notably, the design of the new Rouse Hill Town Centre expansion project for GPT; a transport orientated development with integral ties with Sydney Metro and Bus networks.

• Dashpreet's role with Urban Infrastructure saw him work on a diverse range of projects from masterplanning, design development, through to construction delivery. With his extensive knowledge of land and infrastructure development, he successfully managed multi-disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional project outcomes.

• Dashpreet joined Cardno's undergraduate program and worked within the Transport and Bridges team. He undertook site inspections, assisted in the design of stormwater drainage augmentation works, carried out structural stability checks for short span M-lock bridge designs and assisted in the preparation of technical specifications.
