• Delivering the quarterly planned roadmaps
• eNPS improved from -15 to 33

• Improving the services KPIs and SLAs
• Last but not least, the people are in a good mood!
• I work comfortably with engineers with different skill sets: backend, mobile, web, and data engineers. This allows me to design E2E solutions that are pragmatic and future-proof, which helps the team move fast and be effective.
• In my day-to-day life, I have to interact with Marketing, Compliance, AML, Data and Legal.
• In a continuously evolving company, adapting while keeping up morale and deliverables is an exciting challenge:
• I work with the Product Lead, EMs and PMs to define and execute the quarterly planning.
• I organise the way of working and team allocation to maximize our impact.
• I participate in the design of our backend and mobile features.
• We ship experiments and keep learning, bringing the user experience to the next level.
• I support my team with their growth plans, give them feedback and guide them through the review cycles and calibrations - both engineers and other people managers.
• I manage the engineering headcount for the group.
• I do my best to foster a safe culture where everyone feels open to challenge and be challenged. In a fast-paced environment, I aim for efficiency, engagement and focus rather than pressure and artificial deadlines.

• I joined the Growth Element as an engineering manager, working on customer incentivisation and onboarding initiatives.
• Towards the end of the first year, because of the company’s necessity, I led three cross-functional teams first-hand, each with very different scopes: payment, core mobile, and customer incentivisation.
• I mentored one new engineering manager and a senior engineer who wanted to move to a leadership position.
• In my day to day:
• I worked closely with my product-sparing partner.
• We shipped experiments and kept learning, bringing the user experience to the next level.
• I supported my team with their growth plans, gave them feedback, and guided them through the review cycles and calibrations.
• I shaped and adapted processes to meet the team and business needs.
• I participated in the hiring pipeline for engineers and product managers.
• I drove initiatives for culture improvement in the engineering department and other EM fellows.

• Secret Escapes offered me the opportunity to be the first engineering of a team that I had to hire from scratch. I had to hear several hats: main engineer, hiring manager, and engineering manager.

• The iOS app went from 0 to around 25% of the total traffic, which is an outstanding result for the little marketing budget it got. We also launched the Android app
