Madhumitha has significant expertise and experience in building humane, equitable, inclusive workplaces in APAC and across the globe. She has played the inaugural role of leading diversity, equity and inclusion at organisations like Netflix India, Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages, and Snapdeal. Currently, she is integrating personal and professional priorities and has chosen to take on the role of lead advisor with Synopsys, to help them strengthen their culture of fairness, equity and inclusion across the globe She is the founder of Diversity Dialogues, which has partnered with over 100 organisations in their diversity and inclusion journey across the globe. Diversity Dialogues has taken steps to expand the realms of DEI to look at mental health, domestic violence and intersectional identities. With a background in HR and certification in therapy, she is also qualified in gender & sexuality, sign language. Recognized by Women Economic Forum and World HRD Congress, she's one of the top 17 D&I Professionals in South Asia by Biz Divas Foundation and one of the top 24 DEI professionals by Human Resource Association of India. As a certified counsellor, she primarily works with underrepresented communities and has authored a paper on making mental health accessible for the deaf community, published by Mariwala Health Initiative. She regularly speaks at conferences and corporations on diversity and inclusion, and has been featured in the media for her work in D&I and her personal journey as a woman with disability. She is also pursuing ICF ACC certification in coaching. She started her career as an HR professional with experience working across corporate and consulting roles. Has worked in areas of HR business partnering, setting up HR practices, leadership development, talent management in a large conglomerate, a start up and a leading consulting organisation. Personally, Madhu is a single parent by choice to Anurag, who she adopted in 2023. She lives in Bangalore with her mother and baby.
