About

Building the infrastructure that makes continuous merchant monitoring operationally viable at scale. That's Beetle. I've spent two decades building the layer underneath the thing that gets the credit. At Boston University I built IT infrastructure, databases, and web applications across five departments — not because it was my job, but because the problems were there and I could solve them. At Imaginea I built the crawlers, the APIs, the data pipelines. At Cashfree I built the compliance engine that took merchant onboarding from 24 hours to under 5 minutes across 800,000 merchants — before the industry named this problem or anyone announced they were solving it. That last one became Beetle. Merchant website compliance infrastructure, built from inside payment operations, now available as an API. Under 5 seconds. Audit-ready JSON. Running continuously, not just at onboarding. The through-line is this: I've always been the person who sees what the system actually needs — not what it says it needs — and builds it at the level where it doesn't break. That tends to happen quietly. The results tend not to be quiet. I work at the intersection of compliance infrastructure, AI-native systems, and payment operations. If you're running compliance or merchant ops at a gateway and this resonates — I'd rather show you than tell you.

  • As a Python developer with Imaginea, I worked on building custom, niche Python based solutions both for Imaginea's labs and Imaginea's clients with a focus on critical performance in solutions.
  • Clearsoup - Diverging off a purely traditional Agile mangagement pattern, Clearsoup is a quasi open task management system that is loosely bound by the Agile lifecycle model to leverage on the best of both worlds.
  • Working off a stack of Tornadoweb on both the API and the web layers, Clearsoup incorporates MongoDB as its datastore interfacing the API stack with the Mongo store through Mongoengine for its ORM needs. Worked primarily on the stack design for both the API and web layers.
  • PairUp - A PoC collaborative editor with a particular focus for code editing. As part of an internal code jam, built PairUp to satiate oft occurring needs for parallel peer/mentor development and brought across a native GTK+ solution built over Python 2x with gio for asynchronous I/O support within the application
  • Shoptouch – Worked primarily on the data scraper framework built over a Django/Scrapy based backend framework for a shopping application targeted at mobile application space. In addition, worked closely with API development for the application with a focus on the realtime processing features.
  • Technologies: Python, Django, MongoDB, Redis, Regular expressions.
  • Mixup Travel - Worked on the routing engine and improvement of performance/functional prioritization of the engine that lay as the core of the Django based web application focusing on a niche of travel management/routing. The web stack with Django + MongoDB fed off the routing engine built on top of TornadoWeb as its web framework for its non-blocking HTTP server.
  • Technologies: Django, MongoDB, Tornado Web Server.
