My former boss once sat me down and told "You're a brave engineer". He told me my courage to try out new things without the fear of failing and my thirst for knowledge lead him to say that. Hi! I'm Nirmal and I am a brave engineer. First and foremost, I love writing code. Ever since writing my first program in C++ and manipulating it to produce the desired output, I have been obsessed with the idea of using software to solve practical problems. Software engineering is a never-ending puzzle that I am passionately engaged in solving. I believe in the power of programming to transform and improve the lives of people around the world. Front-end development calls to my passions; it incorporates creativity and problem-solving and I'm allowed to break it to improve the code (in a separate Git branch, of course). My specialties include quickly learning new skills and programming languages, problem-solving, and the Model View Controller (MVC) methods of organizing code. So far I have JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ReactJS, Redux, VueJS, React Native, and Git/GitHub under my belt. I'm still enthusiastically grabbing onto any other programming languages, frameworks, or principles I can integrate into the coding web in my head. Outside of work, I love playing strategy-based online multiplayer games. Most recently, I've been playing Valorant. I find a beautiful crossover between my software and my gaming. Both pursuits challenge so many aspects of my personality: creativity, sequential processing, problem-solving, teamwork, communication. This is what keeps me up at night, a never-ending thirst to create beautiful, powerful things and share them with the world.
