Sr VP and part of the Executive Leadership at udaan, heading Strategy, Biz Finance, Corp Dev & IR (investor relations). Vishnu is an IIM Calcutta graduate with ~15 years of strategy and leadership experience with b2b eCommerce. management consulting firm, Bain & Co.  and as founder & CEO of a VC funded travel tech company, Wandertrails. With Wandertrails, he setup India’s pioneer in end to end experiential travel and introduced the concept of Experiential Stays, a term now used widely across the industry and owned on search by Wandertrails. He led the GTM strategy, spearheaded all product initiatives and drove fund-raising for the company. The company has been built on sound fundamentals with unit economic profitability and return of 5x CAC on each transaction while maintaining an industry leading NPS of 60%. The startup has also been engaged by Govt. of India, State bodies to create new experiential travel circuits and by Alcobev giant Diageo as an exclusive brand extension partner for re-positioning of the iconic Johnnie Walker brand. At Bain & Co., Vishnu was recognized as one of the most sought after in the Team Lead Class and has consistently outperformed with a rating of 4 on 5 and 100% upwards NPS. He has worked on a range of cases in growth strategy, performance improvement and private equity diligence across multiple sectors including IT, Telecom, Chemicals, Construction, Micro-finance and ER&D. Additionally, he was part of the core team that created Bain's IP on Founders Mentality and playbook on Global Growth. He has also been recognized as a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum and has been a speaker at major platforms like the India Economic Summit and TieCon Further, he was consistently Rank 1 in Engineering college and was Top 100 in CAT’08 with 99.96%. He went on to become the sole O.P Jindal scholarship winner at IIM Calcutta and was also an elected member of the IIM C Placement Committee with the then biggest mandate of 85% votes. An avid fan of team sports, he was also the Captain of his school basketball team and part of his college basketball team.
