About

I was the Chief Economist for KPMG Canada’s Global Transfer Pricing Services practice until January 31, 2026. Since 2000, I helped clients navigate the complex and challenging world of transfer pricing in a continually changing global tax environment. I brought to my clients a depth of technical yet practical expertise, from planning to compliance to dispute resolution, across a range of industries including oil and gas, mining, technology, services and consumer products. I worked on numerous complex intercompany transactions such as energy trading, financial transactions (loans, guarantees, factoring), asset leasing, and intangible property licensing. From 2005 through 2016, and again from 2019 to 2025, I was the KPMG Calgary Transfer Pricing Leader. I also helped serve clients across the country. I was regularly recognized as an Expert Transfer Pricing Advisor in the bi-annual Guide to the World’s Leading Transfer Pricing Advisors published by Euromoney Legal Media and recognized as Highly Regarded by ITR World Tax. *Views expressed are my own.
