About

I’m a lawyer by training and a technologist by practice. I graduated from law school in 2015, passed my first bar exam in Ukraine in 2018, and a second one in the UK two years later. But alongside my legal training, another professional identity was forming: technology. My career path wasn’t traditional. Instead of pursuing a BigLaw training contract after graduation, I joined a small legaltech startup building an online legal consultancy platform where I worked as a practicing lawyer inside a product team. Sitting side-by-side with software engineers, product managers, and support teams, I learned how software actually works: the difference between UI and UX, cloud vs. on-prem infrastructure, and how domains, servers, and databases connect. From that point on, my legal career took a different direction. While advising tech companies on multimillion-dollar VC rounds and M&A deals, supporting governments such as St. Helena and the UAE (RAK DAO) on innovative regulatory frameworks, and mentoring founders in top global accelerators, I was always building alongside advising. I built mobile apps and legal chatbots. Patentbot was named Startup of the Year 2017 on Product Hunt and raised funding in Hong Kong. With Legal Nodes, we won the IT Arena Startup Competition in 2019, joined London Techstars in 2021, raised capital from investors from Pipedrive, Wise, and NEAR, and were accepted into the Google AI program. That’s how law and technology became inseparable in my professional life. Today, I help companies scale and modernise their legal function through: 1) high-quality expert advisory in corporate and compliance matters (corporate structuring, contracts, GDPR, DORA, MiCA, AML, and more) delivered by Legal Nodes’ expert team 2) outcome-based legal process outsourcing, where companies pay for completed tasks rather than billable hours or fractional headcount 3) AI-powered legal process automation, enabling legal teams to increase capacity without scaling headcount My mission is to help legal teams transition from being a cost centre to becoming a strategic growth function for the business. Always happy to connect with legal and compliance professionals building inside fast-growing companies.
