• ▪️ Discovery & Planning: Analysed SAS usage to assess migration readiness, developing user personas (analyst, modeller, engineer, etc.) based on tool usage, data consumption, and workload patterns. Created the strategic migration roadmap, balancing technical readiness with business criticality.
• ▪️ Delivery Leadership: Manage an offshore team in India, establishing a factory-style migration model with bespoke automation for code and metadata conversion. Visited the team in Pune in early 2024 to strengthen delivery alignment.
• ▪️ Technical Innovation: Built a custom tool to handle encoding challenges (WLATIN1 to UTF-8), ensuring smooth dataset migration. Proven 8x runtime improvement for workloads migrated to Viya.

• ▪️ Regulatory Readiness – BCBS239: Supported the organisation’s BCBS239 self-assessment by ensuring all critical metrics had comprehensive metadata, lineage, and data quality coverage. Led a team of skilled engineers to extract metadata and lineage from ETL code and ensure accurate representation in Collibra Metadata. Additionally, documented and implemented business validation rules within our custom SAS-based data quality framework, delivering a structured handover to operational teams for ongoing compliance.
