My research interests focus on machine learning systems, AI safety, and mechanistic understanding of modern foundation models, particularly around hallucination, reliability, and symmetry-aware learning in large-scale models. My recent work explores why language models hallucinate and how structured inductive biases and Bayesian perspectives can improve reliability and interpretability. I’m also interested in world models, multimodal learning, and physics-informed machine learning, especially where principled modeling can bridge theory with scalable ML systems. I enjoy collaborating across disciplines and institutions and contributing to open research ecosystems through open-source tools, mentorship, and public communication of ML research.
