• I am a 2x Founder with 2 exits, an executive, builder and investor in the cryptocurrency industry.

• XD Academy was born as a management buyout of BitMEX Academy.
• Designed as the "Masterclass" of Web3, we created cinematic quality courses with some of the most famous thought leaders in the cryptocurrency industry and created token rewards for learners completing the courses.
• We successfully raised venture capital investment in the midst of the most challenging funding period in the cryptocurrency markets, but were unable to reach escape velocity.
• XD Academy was ultimately acquired by Genius Group International in December of 2024 and I left operational responsibility after a brief period supporting as a consultant.
• I am proud of the team I built to support our growth, the investors who trusted and believed in us, the users we were able to serve and the brand we were able to build.

• As Founder, CEO and "Provost" of the BitMEX Academy, I was responsible for the strategic initiative to bring the highest quality education experiences that the crypto world had to offer.
• The education strategy for BitMEX was designed to widen the top of the acquisition funnel for new users, remove knowledge barriers for current and dormant traders and support the internal Learning and Development for the BitMEX staff globally.
• My appointment to CEO of BitMEX Academy included a promotion to the Executive Committee of BitMEX where I joined a group of 9 executives that collaborated in decision making on all of the strategic and operational decisions for the 250+ person and $500M+ revenue firm.

• As Chief of Staff to CEO of BitMEX, Arthur Hayes, I operated as a force multiplier for the CEO's time and energy by coordinating communications across the firm's top internal and external stakeholders, and project managing new initiatives in the incubation stage.
• I supported Arthur through serious crisis events including trading engine shutdown, DOJ indictment of the firm's founders (recently offered full Presidential pardon) and high intensity negotiations with critical internal and external relationships.
• I supported and largely managed responsibility for the Nakadollar project where we collaborated with some of the largest industry leaders in the space to create a risk free rate for cryptocurrency industry, a project which is in many ways the spiritual progenitor to the highly successful Ethena protocol.
