Manya Mahawer — Co-Founder
I co-founded CANCRI, a women’s fashion brand born out of a simple idea: timeless Indian wear, done differently. No mass trends. No cluttered designs. Just original pieces made with intention — designed to last, not just impress. CANCRI runs under iota craft private limited, where I also help manage our OEM manufacturing for brands like Biba and Max Kids. From handling retailer meetings to building our first lookbook to working with production teams, I’ve been in the middle of it all — and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Before jumping into entrepreneurship, I built a solid base in financial modeling, market research, and digital marketing — backed by certifications, internships, and a global COIL program with Florida International University on budgeting & retirement planning (yes, I’ve always been a planner). Now, I’m learning on the go — every sample, every store visit, every pitch deck. Some days are full of creativity, others full of chaos. But all of it is real, and that’s what makes building CANCRI worth it. Let’s connect if you’re into fashion, finance, storytelling — or just figuring it out one bold step at a time.
