Mine has taken a few thoughtful turns — each one shaped by a lesson, a problem worth solving, or simply, curiosity. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2011, I joined our family business and quickly realized that managing finances was about more than compliance — it was about creating systems that support growth. But when a major ERP implementation failed, I didn’t stop at fixing the accounts. I wanted to understand what went wrong. That’s when I began learning to code. Not in a classroom, but through books, videos, and a lot of trial and error. One language led to another, and before long, I had built (and even sold) a few small tech products. I had discovered a new way to think — and work. In 2017, I founded Inscite Advisory — a consulting firm where finance meets automation. Through Inscite, I got to work closely with SMEs and startups and noticed a recurring challenge: tracking and managing business expenses, especially those made outside the office. This insight led to BizPay in 2021 — a platform built to help companies gain better visibility and control over every spend. We brought together corporate cards, digital wallets, and real-time data — not just to digitize expenses, but to make financial management feel simpler, smarter, and more secure. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute as a Board Member at Witblox and Dave AI, two companies pushing boundaries in education and AI-led business solutions. Today, I serve as CFO and Promoter at Safe Enterprises Retail Fixtures Ltd., part of the larger Safe Group I’ve helped shape over the years. What began as a family enterprise is now ready for its next milestone — going public. This IPO is not just a financial event; it’s a marker of the journey — of building with intent, learning continuously, and scaling responsibly.
